When you arrive here, you’ll be based at one of our three campuses in the heart of the UK. Get involved with student activities or, sports and join a Students’ Union society, and experience the best that Wolverhampton and the rest of the UK has to offer. The city itself features popular art galleries and music venues, delicious choice of restaurants and more. Regular trains running the length of the country stop at the city’s train station every day, or look out for organised student trips to some of the UK’s most beloved cities.

Entry requirements for students from Colombia

The Secondary School Diploma (lower or upper secondary school certificates) Bachillerato such as Título de Bachiller Académico or Título de Bachiller Técnico, with a minimum score of ‘acceptable’ would be eligible.

IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all components is also required.

An Upper Secondary School Diploma - Bachillerato (with a pass mark of E = excelente) and  an ICFES SABER 11  of 200+ (higher education entrance exam)

Técnico Profesional: Students with a  minimum score of 3.5 can be considered for entrance to Bachelor programmes

Tecnólogo Especializado: Students who have completed the 2.5 - 3 years with GPA 70% and above or minimum grades of 3.5 – 4.0

Good UK A-level Grades (This will be based on UCAS tariff point equivalency, including subject specific requirements where appropriate), or

International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB): Minimum of 24 points, depending on the programme applied for.

Students who have completed the first year at a Colombian university may be eligible.

Licenciatura / Maestro

Students who have completed a Licenciatura or Maestro from a NARIC or government recognised institution can normally be considered for admission onto a Master’s degree:

A score of 4.0 is considered comparable to a UK 2:1

A score of 3.0 is considered comparable to a UK 2:2

A score of less than 3.0 is considered comparable to a UK 3 and would require the completion of a pre-master’s course




English language requirements vary by course and department but the standard University requirement is 6.0 with 5.5 in every component in IELTS or the same scores in the University's own entry test, the Wolverhampton English Proficiency Examination (WEPE).
