Undergraduate
The University considers students for undergraduate study who have completed 3 year Senior High School with 75% Chinese National University GaoKao University Entrance Test with Tier 2 entry. Successful completion of one year Higher Education is acceptable in lieu of Grade 3 (Year 12) High School at 75%.
Postgraduate
For entry to a postgraduate degree programme (Master's) at the University of Wolverhampton, Chinese students typically need to have completed a four-year undergraduate degree (Honours Bachelor degree or Professional degree) at an accredited university or college. Exact requirements will depend on the postgraduate degree you are applying for and the institution you have studied at.
- For programmes that require a UK Second Class Honours Second Division (2:2), a minimum score of 70% or above from any recognized Chinese institution/65% for elite universities
- For programmes that require a UK Second Class Honours First Division (2:1), a minimum score of 75% for elite universities (double rated University) or above, 80% for all other universities
- Only in exceptional circumstances will 3 year university/college diploma holders with grades of 70% or above in key subjects PLUS a minimum 3 years relevant work experience be admitted for direct entry.

Standard English Language Requirements - IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all components or equivalent
