Accredited and non-accredited foreign language courses

The International Academy offers accredited and non-accredited foreign language courses commencing Monday 8th October 2018.

Accredited foreign language courses for students at the University of Wolverhampton

Year One or Two (level 4 and 5) undergraduate students at the University of Wolverhampton can choose to study a foreign language module as part of their degree programme for free.  The accredited language modules are ideal for students who wish to enhance their employment prospects, gain an insight into another culture and develop communication skills.  Each accredited module runs in daytime and evening sessions with a combination of class and directed study-time. Current students can register via e:Vision

You can start at any level from beginner to advanced, in:

  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Spanish
  • Russian
  • Japanese

(Please note that there are some degrees that do not allow students to enrol on any of the accredited language courses. Students will have to check with their Course Leader.  Classes will be offered each semester and run subject to demand.  Progression is built into the programme).
