Contribute to the University's Access and Participation Plan

All universities must have an Access and Participation plan, approved by the Director for Fair Access and Participation, which sets out how we will improve equality of opportunity for underrepresented groups to access, succeed in and progress from higher education.

The University would like to invite contributions from students in the writing of our Access and Participation Plan from 2020/21 onwards.  Such collaboration can be mutually beneficial as it will ensure that we improve our understanding of the experiences of students, and can improve our strategy and activities based on this understanding. But also, by engaging with this process students can make positive changes to both their own experience and those of future students, whilst potentially improving employability.

We will be holding a series of student panel meetings during week commencing 27 May 2019.  If you would be interested in participating and would like to find out more information, please contact me on K.Dorward@wlv.ac.uk and I will send you further information

It would be useful if you could include in your reply:

• Student number
• Name
• Preferred day(s) if appropriate
• Preferred Campus (and whether able to  travel between campuses on the intersite bus)
• There will be an end of year staff/student party on Wednesday 22 May at our Walsall Campus - if you will be attending, please confirm in your reply as we may be able to meet immediately prior to  that event
