Enjoy the heat and the sunshine whilst staying safe!

Want to enjoy the heat and the sunshine in a safe way? Then read this blog from the UK Health Security Agency on how to safely cope with adverse weather warnings.

UKHSA, in collaboration with the Met Office, has launched a new Heat-Health Alerting (HHA) system. The alert system follows the publication of the Adverse Weather and Health Plan last month and will focus more specifically on the health impacts that high temperatures could have on the health of the population. As of Tuesday 13 June, the Heat-Health Alerts issued by UKHSA have been extended until 9am on Monday 19 June. All regions of England have been placed under a yellow alert for this period.
