Have a health condition or disability? Find out how WorkWell can support you into employment

WorkWell is a service delivered by Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The service is designed to support individuals aged 16 and over in the Black Country who face health-related barriers to employment.
A health related barrier could be mental (you may be experiencing stress, anxiety or depression), physical (you may have arthritis, diabetes, epilepsy, chronic fatigue or experiencing musculoskeletal health concerns) or both.
How can the service help you?
If you are someone with a health condition or disability, WorkWell offers several benefits:
Employment Support: WorkWell provides assistance in creating personalised goal plans, accessing education, training, and volunteering opportunities, finding employment, building CVs, and developing interview techniques.
In-Work Support: If you are a student who is already employed or undertaking work placements, WorkWell offers guidance on workplace rights, facilitates discussions with employers about health-related barriers, and assists in negotiating reasonable adjustments to support your employment.
Referral and Signposting: WorkWell acts as a single point of access, connecting you to various local services that address their specific needs, such as benefits support, financial advice, training, life skills support, and social inclusion services.
By offering tailored support, WorkWell helps students manage health-related challenges, enhancing your prospects of securing and maintaining employment or successfully engaging in educational and training opportunities.
