IoP Series Lecture - Astronomy and Art: Universal Appeal?

Andrew Newsam will be the guest speaker at the next IoP (Institute of Physics) Lecture Series, and will be talking about the subject - Astronomy and Art: Universal Appeal?

From computer music to dance, theatre to gardening shows, and exploring science from gravity and the nature of Dark Matter, to the physics of breakfast, we will see some ways in which art and science can work together, and also perhaps ask whether the two cultures are really as different as they might at first seem.

This event will be held from 7 - 9pm on Wednesday 10 April 2019, Wulfruna Building, Room MA030, City Campus.

Refreshments served at 7pm, lecture starts at 7:30pm.

Tickets are free and please book online here
