Donate unwanted kitchenware to help fellow students settle in
Starting university is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming, especially when you're setting up a new home from scratch. That’s where you can make a real difference.
The Chaplaincy is collecting unwanted kitchenware to support students who are just beginning their university journey. If you’ve got spare plates, pans, mugs, or cutlery tucked away in your cupboards, why not pass them on to someone who truly needs them?
It’s a simple way to:
- Declutter your space
- Support fellow students
- Spread kindness in your community
What can you donate?
Pretty much anything useful in a kitchen—crockery, pans, cutlery, glasses, cups, and more. (Just no sharp knives or electrical items, please!)
Where to drop off your donations:
- Chaplaincy, MP Building: Monday 1 September to Thursday 9 October
The Workplace, MD, Ambika Paul Building: Monday 1 September to Friday 12 September
Note: This collection ends before Welcome Week
Whether you're a returning student or just clearing out before moving, your donation could make someone’s start to uni a whole lot easier.
