The Marie Sklodowska-Curie (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships 2023 call is now open.

This funding offers the opportunity to enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary mobility.

These are excellent opportunities offering international researchers the opportunity to move to the University of Wolverhampton to work with you as their supervisor to deliver a specific project involving research, innovation, training and networking activities.

MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships are open to excellent researchers of any nationality. Applications are made jointly by the researcher and the host organisation.

If you intend to develop an application, please email funding@wlv.ac.uk by midday on Tuesday 30 May (midday) to ensure your application is included in the workload of the Research Development Managers and Bidding Support Team.  Full development/bid support cannot be guaranteed for bid notifications received after this date.

To support anyone thinking of applying, the Bidding Support Team will run an informative session providing an overview of the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship scheme and key considerations for proposal development.

Participants will gain an understanding of the proposal format and important considerations when planning, writing and submitting a proposal. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, as well as the option to meet individually to discuss potential applications following the sessions.

The following sessions will take place on MS Teams:

  • Wednesday 17 May 12pm – 1pm
  • Friday 19 May 2pm – 3pm

One of the sessions will be recorded for those who are interested but unable to attend. Anyone can book on to the information session, or request the recording, by emailing funding@wlv.ac.uk.
