Breathe easy with free mindfulness sessions at the Students’ Union

Join a free breathwork session at the SU on Wednesday 3 May and learn techniques for calm and relaxation
With exam season upon us, it can be tough to unwind.
But we all need a little extra kindness to ourselves when academic pressures hit.
With this in mind, we have a free-to-attend ‘breathwork’ session organised by Wolverhampton’s holistic health pioneers The Little Earth Centre, next Wednesday, May 3, from 2.15 pm - 3.15 pm.
It will be held at The Students’ Union Venue in the Ambika Paul building, opposite the Harrison Library.
This is an opportunity to learn new ‘techniques for calm and relaxation – not a challenging physical workout.
Aman Bhandal from the Little Earth Centre says: “Join us for a transformative breathwork journey that will help you connect with your body, release tension and stress, and cultivate mindfulness.
“This session will be led by a certified breathwork practitioner who will guide you through a series of breathing exercises, visualisation techniques, and meditation practices to help you access a deeper state of relaxation and awareness.
“Breathwork is a powerful tool that can help you regulate your nervous system, increase oxygen flow to your brain and body, and release emotional blockages. It is a safe and gentle practice that can be done by anyone, regardless of their fitness level or experience.
“In this session, you will learn how to use your breath to calm your mind, reduce anxiety and stress, and improve your overall well-being.”
Yoga mats will be provided but please feel free to bring your own. Wear comfortable clothing, bring a bottle of water and chill out with us…
Massive thanks to Aman and team at the Little Earth Centre for making this possible.
