APTIME is a 3 year project lead by the university of Wolverhampton to develop next-generation curriculum and pan-European study modes within the advanced manufacturing field of additive manufacturing.
The main innovation of APTIME has been the development of a MSc award in Additive Manufacturing. This has been complementary to the development of MSc awards in engineering disciplines with all partner institutions. Throughout the project duration, Partner institutions have been responsible for curriculum development aligned with their unique expertise and technical abilities. We are fortunate to be working with the best in the field of additive manufacturing across metals and polymer production.
Teaching material developed through this research project has been tested at two summer schools in Spain and France, to gauge the response from students at masters or higher levels of study. feedback from both summer schools proved advantageous in developing the right content and at the right level for transnational education.
