Timetables


This quick video shows students how to easily access their timetables using the MyWLV App!

The App keeps everything up to date, so you’ll always have the latest information on your lectures, seminars, practicals and more - all in one place.

You can download the app to your phone or tablet from the Apple and Google play stores, or use the web browser version at http://my.wlv.ac.uk. You will need to log in using your University email address and password. 

The myWLV App is currently available to all University of Wolverhampton students who are fully enrolled on an undergraduate or postgraduate course, including research students. Unfortunately it is not available for students studying at a partner institution,  please contact your College for your timetable. 

The Academic Calendar

Our academic calendar is organised into semesters, each consisting of 12 weeks of teaching activities. Although each course differs slightly in the way it is organised, the majority of our courses use the timings of these semesters to schedule the delivery of your modules.

The calendar includes a combination of teaching weeks, revision weeks, and assessment weeks.  Unlike schools and colleges we don’t have half terms, but on occasion teaching is paused for a week so that students can engage with wider aspects of University life.

Timetables:

Your timetable will show the days, times and locations of all you teaching sessions. 

 

Timetable availability:

Once you have completed enrolment, your course and module information will automatically be passed to the timetabling team.  Using this information, the team will begin the process of fitting you into specific groups so that your timetable is personalised to you. This process can take 2 - 5 working days to complete. 

Whilst you are waiting for your personalised timetable to be created, you can view a non-personalised version of the timetable by entering your module codes, view the module timetable.

Your timetable can be accessed via the myWLV App, available from the Apple or Google Play Store or visit http://my.wlv.ac.uk. You will need your University email and password to log in. 

 

Timetable changes:

You are advised to check your timetable daily for the first few weeks as it can be subject to change.

 The teaching timetable is subject to change. Times and venues will be rearranged as necessary and new bookings will be added throughout the academic year. You are strongly advised to check the timetable regularly for changes.

STUDENTS: We may text with details of any late changes to the timetable. If you wish to receive texts relating to your registered modules, please ensure that you have opted into this service in e:Vision and have supplied a current mobile number (go to ‘view/amend personal information’ under ‘Personal Details’)
