The best things in life are the people we love, the places you have been, and the memories that you make along the way!

1. Lecturers/support staff – very friendly and helpful. I missed Ms Vivian at the reception and Aunty Nely at the Cafe. 2. Facilities – My campus in Telford was very convenient and my accommodation was just a walking distance to the lecture hall, cafe, library and Students' Union. We didn't have to worry about travelling. If we wanted to visit the Wolverhampton main campus, there is a shuttle bus. I miss my room and I had the privacy that I wanted. And it’s very safe for female students. 3. The friends I made and staying in touch. I have made some friends with Spanish students and local friends living in Wolverhampton and Birmingham. Previously, we just stayed in touch via email and Yahoo Messenger but now, thanks to Facebook and WhatsApp, we connect in other ways. 5. Favourite memory - Everything was my favourite moment. We went on tours together, travelled around the UK, and enjoyed shopping, eating and cooking together. I loved my first time playing with snow! I was very grateful that the group of students in 1996 - 1997 was very cheerful and we took care of each other like family members. We still keep in touch to this day.
We were made to form a group for a presentation with other students who were not from the same country as us, for example from Spain, UK, Hong Kong etc. This forced us to develop our team efforts, to try to speak in English even if we hated to do so at the time, and to present in front of a class filled with foreigners (people we don’t know). We were trained to find our own materials for the presentation and to write reports. We fought during the process and became friends at the end of the semester!
Handling the secretarial part for the company, attending meetings like Board of Directors’ meetings, council meetings, committee meetings, and management meetings. I prepare the minutes of the meetings. I also assist the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in her daily work/meetings. External and Internal parties will contact me as a first port of call if they want to have discussion or meeting with the CEO. I also assist the company secretary in some of her duties with Companies Commission of Malaysia.
Having the opportunity to meet the Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia.
Don’t limit yourself by communicating or surrounding yourself with the students only from your own country or friends from the same college with you. You need and try to talk to other students from other countries and don’t be afraid if you think your English is not good. Maybe others have the same problem as you. Enjoy yourself to the maximum there, as you may not get a second chance.
