We are proud to have secured TASS Dual Career Accreditation, which demonstrates our commitment to ensuring our student athletes balance the demands of their sport with those of their education.
The University of is also a TASS Delivery Site, where external athletes can be nominated by their National Governing Body to receive a range of support services at the University. These include strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, lifestyle, nutrition and psychology.

TASS
TASS (Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme) is a Sport England funded partnership between talented athletes, delivery sites and national governing bodies of sport. We work together to bring the best out of our country’s most exciting young talents.
The TASS programme helps athletes – aged 16-plus – to balance sport within the rest of their lives, be they in education, training or another form of personal development.
- TASS support more than 600 athletes in 34 Sport England sports.
- TASS provides vital support services via a national network of experienced practitioners based at 38 TASS Delivery Sites throughout England.
