Finding e-Books and e-Journal articles

The University provides access to thousands of ebooks and ejournals. Wherever possible, we buy ebook versions of the books recommended on course reading lists, as well as ebooks for background reading.

You can:

  • read them on mobile devices
  • print and download sections according to copyright law and publishers’ allowances
  • have 24-hour access, on and off campus
  • do keyword searches, make notes and export details to reference management systems like RefWorks.

You can find ebooks and ejournal articles using LibrarySearch. First, put your keywords into the library catalogue’s search box then use the drop-down menu to select ebooks or articles and click Search.

If you want to access an ebook, click on its title. Sign in with your University IT account username and password if requested.

eBook Dawsons

Our ebooks come from different sources, so how you use them and how they look can vary.

For help using ebooks, try our FAQs or refer to the ebooks’ own help pages.
