Dr Suresh Renukappa

Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Science and Engineering

Dr Suresh Renukappa, is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton. Overall, Dr Renukappa has 20 years of research, consultancy, management, and teaching experience.

He has worked with and advised many public and private sector organisations on a number of social, economic and environmental sustainability issues. He has executed more than USD 10 million worth of consultancy and research projects. To-date, he has successfully executed more than 20 projects and authored over 200 papers, in journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings.

His work has contributed to three books. Also, contributed evidence to the UK Parliament on the impact of coronavirus on businesses and workers, Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee, Life beyond COVID‐2019 and Net Zero Governance.

He has successfully supervised twelve PhD research projects to completion. He is an editorial board member of Engineering Sustainability Journal and Smart and Sustainable Built Environment Journal. In the PACE project, Dr Renukappa is co-leading engineering degree students strand. His role is to encourage participation and disseminate project outputs with key stakeholders and end users.
