Being Human Festival 2024

16/10/2024

The University of Wolverhampton is delighted to be delivering eight events as part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 7–16 November 2024.

Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, with generous support from Research England, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy.

The theme this year is 'Myth, Magic and Markings' and our events explore rites of passage, death, mourning, remembrance and renewal. There are workshops in glass and ceramics, fashion and textiles, illustration, an evening of storytelling and a public lecture entitled 'Care for the Dead'.

We hope to see you there!
