Why make a will?

Making a will is one of the most important considerations of our lifetime. It’s a time to reflect and consider what means most to us now and in the future, and an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the people and causes closest to us.

Many of our alumni and friends leave a gift in their will to the University of Wolverhampton – it’s their way of helping to provide future generations with outstanding learning opportunities and to transform lives through the world-leading research and professional practice in which we are engaged.

By planning ahead, you can make sure your wishes are fulfilled. Everyone can leave a legacy. It’s easy to do and any gift – large or small – can have a significant impact on the University. The University of Wolverhampton has charitable status which means gifts to us in your will can reduce the Inheritance Tax liability of your estate which your solicitor or personal advisor can help you with.
