People who succeed and people who don't have little or no differences in abilities. What differentiates them is in their hard work.

Studying at Wolverhampton is filled with very many memories. I made a community of friends that have lasted till today. I made friends across different racial backgrounds. We have stayed in touch and we collaborate in areas of business and academia. During my stay at Wolverhampton, I felt so at home because of its multicultural ambience. Afterwards, I lived in different cities in the UK but Wolverhampton remains like a home each time I visit. The city campus where I studied is at the heart of the city and we were within reach of all amenities including going to watch my team, Wolverhampton Wanderers, metres away from my residence at Randall Lines. My favourite memory is being selected to meet with the Mayor of Wolverhampton at the presentation of the model Beeston village in 2009. I still miss the city and I try to visit as often as I can.
From many universities in the UK, I chose to study at Wolverhampton because it presented me with an LLM course with module combinations that fits into my carer path and area of legal specialisation. It equipped me with the specialised knowledge I require to pursue my dream job in academia. Upon return to Nigeria, I was among the few persons in the midst of hundreds of applicants selected to join Rivers State University, one of the best institutions in Nigeria. Today, I am at the verge of completing my PhD at Queen Mary University of London. I am also a Partner at Legal Answers LLP, a medium-sized law firm in Nigeria where I head the corporate practice of the firm. I am glad I made the decision to study at Wolverhampton.
Before proceeding on a study leave I was teaching undergraduate degree courses at River State University, which include: Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Corporate Law. In addition to the teaching responsibilities, I held some administrative positions. I held the position of Undergraduate Research Co-ordinator for four years. I also served as member of the Innovation and Technology Promotion Committee of the University. I also served as the representative of the School of Law at the University Invention Exhibition Committee.
My appointments as a lecturer and as partner at Legal Answers LLP.
My advice is to choose a university that has a long history of academic excellence with modern facilities. That's what Wolverhampton represents. The University offers a wonderful community that is inclusive and makes it easy to find balance between studies and social life. Also, studying at the heart of the city comes with many advantages as amenities are within reach. The city of Wolverhampton is very affordable compared to many cities in the UK and offers easy transportation links and access to other major cities like Birmingham, London and Manchester.
