Share your experiences with the next generation!

As an alumnus of the University of Wolverhampton, you are one of our greatest ambassadors, and we would be delighted if you could support us in the future by sharing your story with others.

Hearing our graduates speak about their experience and career journey is extremely beneficial for students and can both inspire them to study with us and help choose the right career. And it won’t do any harm for your CV either!

There are lots of ways you can get involved either in person or virtually, from giving a five-minute talk at an event or in a class lecture, to speaking on camera in one of our marketing campaigns. It can be a great way to improve your confidence and public speaking in a safe and familiar environment.

Annual events and opportunities that we welcome volunteer speakers at include: 

  • Open Days
  • Postgraduate Open Evenings
  • Talks in lectures
  • Careers talks – about an industry
  • Bespoke events – i.e. Black History Month; International Women’s Day etc.
  • Campaign videos

By giving just a little of your time, your words can go a long way to supporting students and the University.
