Background

I have been a senior lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton for 14 years after completing an MSc in Occupational Psychology & Business at Aston Business School, Aston University. I have previously worked as a Research Associate at ABS and a Lecturer at Newman University, Birmingham.

I am a Chartered Psychologist and Chartered Coaching Psychologist with the BPS and hold current test user certificates in Ability and Personality testing.

My research interests are varied. At present my research projects are focused towards Academic Confidence, achievement and performance and understanding the impact of student satisfaction on performance. I have explored diverse areas in collaborative research with colleagues and students such as online consumer behaviour, paranormal beliefs & personality and the job/life satisfaction relationship.

Within the field of Occupational Psychology I am interested in the development and delivery of training programmes within educational settings..
