Rich Fann, Associate Director of the Office of Cross Cultural and Leadership Development at the University of Pittsburgh

This talk will discuss how American Higher Education approaches issues related to Equality and Diversity, and how this compares to the British approach.

Rich Fann was appointed Associate Director of the Office of Cross Cultural and Leadership Development (CCLD) in 2017. CCLD was established in 2007 with a vision to cultivate transformational leaders who positively impact the campus, community, and greater society. CCLD provides students, faculty, and staff with resources and opportunities to become more globally aware, culturally competent, and socially responsible, as well as better leaders, through programming and support services. CCLD serves as the home for several student organizations, including the Black Action Society, the Asian Student Alliance, Feminist Empowerment Movement, Rainbow Alliance, and Office of Greek Life.
