SciFest 2024: Community Day

Saturday 29th June 2024 is Community Day! Where young learners and adults of all ages have the opportunity to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) as they have never seen before. There will be drop-in activities within the Courtyard and pre-bookable workshops and shows located within the University at City Campus.

PLEASE NOTE: 

  • Whilst this is a free event, pre-booked tickets are advised due to having a maximum capacity. If you do not have tickets you will may be able to get a ticket on arrival however we cannot guarantee.
  • Please book one ticket per individual attending, this is both for general admission tickets and the bookable shows/workshops. 
  • Individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult within all of the sessions so please ensure the correct number of tickets are booked as the sessions have a limited capacity. If the incorrect number of tickets is booked, or an individual is not accompanied by an appropriate adult, sadly entry to the show/workshop will be refused.

Community Day Important Information

The festival will begin at 09:30 and finish at 16:00

The entrance to SciFest will be located on Stafford Road.

Risk assessments for workshops are completed where appropriate and are available under the sessions on the website.
