Entry requirements for students from Greece

ΑΠΟΛΥΤΗΡΙΟ ΓΕΝΙΚΟΥ ΛΥΚΕΙΟΥ / ΑΠΟΛΥΤΗΡΙΟ ΕΝΙΑΙΟΥ ΛΥΚΕΙΟΥ (Upper Secondary School (Lykeio) Leaving Certificate)

Students with a score of 14.5 – 16.0 can normally be considered for admission onto IFY programmes.

IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all components is also required.

Students with a score of 19/20 in English language are exempt from English language requirements.

ΑΠΟΛΥΤΗΡΙΟ ΓΕΝΙΚΟΥ ΛΥΚΕΙΟΥ / ΑΠΟΛΥΤΗΡΙΟ ΕΝΙΑΙΟΥ ΛΥΚΕΙΟΥ (Upper Secondary School (Lykeio) Leaving Certificate)

Students with a minimum score of 16.0 can normally be considered for admission onto Bachelor programmes.

Exceptions include the following programmes:

MPharm: 19/20 and above.
Psychology: 18/20 and above + IELTS 6.5.
MEng courses (direct first year entry) 17.5 and above.

ΠΤΥΧΙΟ

Students who have completed a Bachelor degree from a NARIC or government recognised institution can normally be considered for admission onto a Master’s degree.

Bachelor degrees from TEI / AEN institutions

A score of 8.5 is considered comparable to a UK 2:1

A score of 6.5 is considered comparable to a UK 2:2

A score of 6.5 is considered comparable to a UK 3 and would require the completion of a pre-masters course

 

Bachelor degrees from AEA institutions

A score of 6.5 is considered comparable to a UK 2:1

A score of 5 is considered comparable to a UK 2:2

A score of 5 is considered comparable to a UK 3 and would require the completion of a pre-masters course

 

University Sector Degree

Students with an overall classification of 

5.0 – 6.49 considered comparable to a UK 2.2

6.5 – 8.49 considered comparable to a UK 2.1

8.5+ considered comparable to a UK 1st Degree

 

English language requirements vary by course and department but the standard University requirement is 6.0 with 5.5 in every component in IELTS or the same scores in the University's own entry test, the Wolverhampton English Proficiency Examination (WEPE).
