During these periods, you will be able to access all of the study spaces, print books and journals, use the student PCs and borrow books and short-loan laptops using our self-service lockers and kiosks. Pickup and return of long-loan (30-day) laptops will only be available during our regular opening hours.

There will be limited library support in the building but remote support via our Live Chat will continue as usual 24/7 and you can browse hundreds of wide-ranging library support articles over at Library Assist

*Campus ID cards will be required to enter the libraries*

Please remember to take care of yourself and use good study habits during the upcoming assessment periods, including taking regular breaks, resting well and doing things that you enjoy in between studying!

Visit the Library’s Exam and Assessment Support pages for guidance on planning and preparing for the assessment periods, including exploring all of our academic skills support for assignments such as drop-in support, study guides and a range of skills for learning workshops that you can attend online.

The university's Mental Health and Wellbeing Team has various online resources that you may find useful on their webpage, including Student Life Connect a 24/7 counselling, information and advice service offering support for issues arising at university, home, or work.
