Students are invited to attend a free online training course covering cybersecurity essentials, GDPR and information security.

This course is open to all University of Wolverhampton students. 

Online security awareness has never been so important. Having a firm grasp of the basics will not only help boost your employability skills, as organisations commonly require employees to comply with GDPR and other information security policies, but it will help you to build the skills and awareness to guard your personal data against potential risk. 

By attending this course you will receive three certificates of completion provided by Cyber Quarter for the following three courses, outlined below. 

Agenda

  • Introduction: 9.40-10am
  • First course: Cyber Essentials: 10am-10.50am
  • Second course: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): 11am-11.50am
  • Third course: Information Security Management: 12noon-12.50pm
