Langar on Campus

Langar on Campus is one of the biggest society-run events supported by the Students' Union. Organised and hosted by the Sikh Society, it brings together students and staff from the University to enjoy a free community meal. Langar on Campus was enjoyed by 600 participants in 2017 and volunteers are needed to assist the Sikh Society in making it even bigger in 2018!

Langar on Campus will be taking place on Tuesday 6th February 2018 from 11am - 3pm in The Venue, Students' Union, City Campus. We are looking for 10 volunteers to support the Sikh Society on the day with a variety of tasks including assisting with the set-up of the event, serving food, welcoming guests and getting out on campus to promote the event and encourage more participants. This is a fun, one-off volunteering opportunity at an event which has a fantastic community atmosphere.
