The University holds a wide range of events and seminars designed to help businesses start, grow and learn new skills.  Ranging from fully funded introductory new business start-up courses,  comprehensive mentoring programmes, networking opportunities and specialised areas such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), we aim to support and help grow businesses of all sizes.

Herefordshire Council's Cabinet Member for Economy, Councillor David Harlow invites businesses in the creative and digital sectors, as well as policy makers to attend a FREE seminar aimed at increasing the strength of this industry.

The seminar will provide a unique opportunity for all those with a professional interest in Herefordshire's cultural, media and communications landscape to learn more about opportunities to grow the creative digital sector, to identify facilities and skills gaps, and encourage businesses to work more closesly together.

Envisioning for Growth through Innovation

Businesses are exposed to lots of uncertainties in their environment. As well as the everyday internal challenges businesses face, external factors such as the state of the economy, rapid changes in technology or a turbulent political landscape can make it difficult for businesses to prepare a robust growth strategy for the future.
 
This workshop will give SMEs hands on tools to understand how to grow their business within the context of the environment around them; whether they’re looking to grow regionally, nationally or even internationally.

Innovations in Marketing Workshop

The Enterprise Europe Network in partnership with the Black Country Growth Hub is organising a workshop designed to bring business leaders up to date with the very latest thinking in Marketing. 
Attendees will be advised of the EEN services and funding currently available for innovation. 
This is a workshop for businesses who have already invested in marketing and have all the basics in place, and now wish to ensure they are keeping pace with change in this fast moving discipline. 
 
Places are limited to 20 attendees -  one delegate per company only.

Marketing and Finance for Innovation
