When you arrive here, you’ll be based at one of our three campuses in the heart of the UK. Get involved with student activities or, sports and join a Students’ Union society, and experience the best that Wolverhampton and the rest of the UK has to offer. The city itself features popular art galleries and music venues, delicious choice of restaurants, and more.
Enjoy great shopping options in Wolverhampton, Telford and Birmingham (the second largest UK City and only 20 minutes away). Regular trains running the length of the country stop at the city’s train station every day, or look out for organised student trips to some of the UK’s most beloved cities.
Our diverse city is home to mosques and a selection of Halal butchers and restaurants, catering to Wolverhampton’s Muslim population. The Students’ Union has Islamic societies which you can join, and you can also request single gender accommodation during your time with us.
Entry requirements for students from Iran
گواهينامه پايان تحصيلات دوره متوسطه – High School Diploma
Typically we will consider completion of High School Leaving Certificate with a minimum mark of 16/20.
IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all components is also required
پیش دانشگاهی – Pre University Certificate / کنکور University Entrance Examination
Students with a score of 16/20 or 80% in the Pre-University Certificate or alternatively the National University Entrance Examination will be considered for entrance onto Bachelor degree programmes.
کارشناسی – Bachelor degree / لیسانس - Licence
Bachelor degrees from NARIC or government recognised institutions can normally be accepted for master’s studies:
A score of 15-17/20 (75%) is considered comparable to a UK 2:1
A score of 13-15/20 is considered comparable to a UK 2:2.
A score of less than 13 is considered comparable to a UK 3 and would require the completion of a pre-masters course
English language requirements vary by course and department but the standard University requirement is 6.0 with 5.5 in every component in IELTS or the same scores in the University's own entry test, the Wolverhampton English Proficiency Examination (WEPE).
Some courses may require a higher level of English language proficiency than the University standard requirements. For details of each programme's English language requirement please see the individual course pages.
