How to Find Us

The Arena Theatre is located in the heart of Wolverhampton's city centre, situated next door the University of Wolverhampton's Wulfruna building and behind the Wolverhampton Art Gallery.

Opening times

The Arena is open 10am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, on non-performance days.

The theatre is open later if we have a performance (until 10pm) and opening times at weekends are performance dependent.

By car

The Arena is easily accessible by road. Signs to 'University (South)' will lead you to Wulfruna street. Limited street parking is available outside. The nearby Broad Street car park is open 24-hours a day, and is just a three to four minute walk from the theatre. You can pay for parking at Broad Street with the RingGo app which is available for most phone devices. You can download RingGo here (click)

For Google Maps and Sat Navs, input the postcode WV1 1SE for the Arena Theatre, and WV1 1JD for Broad Street car park.

If Broad Street is full, Faulkland Street is the next nearest car park to the theatre - again this is payable with the RingGo app. The postcode for Faulkland Street is WV1 1JN

PLEASE NOTE: please check the closing times when parking on the Wolverhampton Civic Centre car park, as this can sometimes shut at 8.00pm before shows at the theatre are finished.

By cycle

Bicycle parking is available outside of the theatre. Alternatively, we are happy to store bicycles in the box office for safekeeping.

By train

Wolverhampton train station is just a five-minute walk away from the Arena Theatre. See the map above for directions.

By bus and metro

Wolverhampton is served by bus companies who link all the surrounding towns in the area. Wolverhampton bus and metro stations are just a five-minute walk away.

Access

The Arena Theatre is committed to being accessible to everybody. We recommend audiences with any access requirements - particularly those in wheelchairs or who find walking difficult - to book their tickets in advance so that we can both provide assistance and ensure you are in seats that are easy to get to.

All staff at the theatre are trained in guiding the visually impaired.
