Project Xpedition

Delivered by Flexus Dance Collective & Arena Theatre, Wolverhampton

Project Xpedition is a performance and arts management programme by the Arena Theatre and Flexus Dance Collective, giving young people (aged 11-15 years old) the opportunity to produce and perform in their own arts event at the Arena Theatre: promoting the work of young people in the local region.

Founded and managed by FDC and delivered in partnership with Arena Theatre, Project Xpedition aims to empower young people with invaluable skills, qualifications, experience & insight to the Creative industries, working with an experienced team of industry professionals.   

The aspirational programme includes: 

- Completion of a Bronze/Silver Arts Award Qualification
- Next Steps/Careers advice & guidance 
- Participation in workshops & masterclasses with Arts Management & Performing Artist professionals 
- Work collaboratively in the design, management, creation & performance of inspiring new works 

Dates: 

- Sunday 12th January 2025: Session 1 (10am – 4pm) 
- Sunday 9th February 2025: Session 2 (10am – 4pm) 
- Sunday 9th March 2025: Session 3 (10am – 4pm) 
- Sunday 6th April 2025: Session 4 (10am – 4pm) 
- Sunday 11th May 2025: Session 5 (10am–  4pm) 
- (May Half Term) Tuesday 27th May – Saturday 31st May 2025: Creation & Performance Week (Times TBC)
