Under 16s Swimming Policy

Children under the age of 5 years must be accompanied on a 1 to 1 basis by a parent or guardian aged 16+ .

One adult aged 16+ is able to accompany two children between the ages of 5 and 8 years. 

Children aged 9+ can swim unaccompanied so long as they are competant swimmers. Any unaccompanied child that isn't deemed competant will be asked to vacant the water.

Members are entitled to bring up to two children under the age of 16 swimming free as part of their membership, in accordance with the policy above and the terms of their membership.

You have two options – you can follow these session cards independently and progress at your own rate (Swimfit Activate) or you can take part in an instructor led session (Swimfit Activate+).

You can also take part in a Swimfit Activate+ Gym session which aims to incorporate high impact, high calorie burning circuit style activities into your workout.

Swimmers can also log their pool workout at www.swimfit.com and track their progress, access tailored programmes and take part in Swimfit challenges.
