BSc (Hons) Emergency and Disaster Management

Are you known for keeping calm in a crisis and not losing your head? If you’re interested in natural, man-made or terrorist incidents and disasters, and want to help improve the responses, recovery and support after such events, then our BSc (Hons) Emergency and Disaster Management is for you.

BSc (Hons) Forensic Science with Policing

If you’re fascinated by the intricacies of Forensic Science, but are also interested in the demands of the modern police force, our new combined BSc (Hons) Forensic Science with Policing degree opens options to a fascinating and varied career path.

BA (Hons) History with Secondary Education (with recommendation for QTS)

We’re proud to offer a range of subjects with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recommendation. The latest added to our portfolio, BA (Hons) History with Secondary Education (QTS), will allow you to study the fascinating – and important – subject of History, while also training you to teach the subject at secondary school level.

BSc (Hons) Microbiology and Biotechnology

Combing two interconnected areas, our BSc (Hons) Microbiology and Biotechnology, course will prepare you for the varied career options made available by a degree in the applied aspects of microbiology and biotechnology, especially within the water, food, medical and healthcare, pharmaceutical and environmental industries.

BA (Hons) Professional Policing

Expanding upon our Uniformed Services portfolio, the BA (Hons) Professional Policing three year degree will equip you to deal with the exciting challenges modern policing has to offer, in line with the requirements of the Policing Education Qualifications Framework, as well as preparing you for careers that require investigative or practical legal knowledge.

BA (Hons) Sports Journalism

Our new BA (Hons) Sports Journalism course will offer you the unique opportunity to focus your journalistic ambitions on the sport of your choice – from cricket, rugby or football to car racing, gymnastics, minority sports, women’s sports and Paralympics. This degree is also available with an integrated foundation year or with an optional sandwich placement!
