Student Support and Wellbeing (SSW) Preparing for Uni Days

       Are you starting your studies at the University of Wolverhampton in September 2018?

-        Would you like to know more about what to expect on Day 1?

-        Do you have a disability, specific learning difficulty or mental health condition?

If you have answered Yes to these questions then we have a fantastic opportunity just for you. The University Student Support and Wellbeing Team, along with the Students’ Union, have organised a series of ‘Preparing for Uni’ days.

These will be fun, informative and a great way to get to know what will happen when you start University….you will get to meet key staff, meet other students, get to know about the University services and get answers to all of your questions…

Before you attend, here are some things to do, but don’t worry if you haven’t, please come along regardless: 

  • If you have not already done so, please register with Student Support and Wellbeing by completing a Self-Declaration form. You can bring the completed form with you. 
  •  You also need to provide SSW with your medical evidence or diagnostic report to confirm your diagnosed condition (link to DSA disability evidence form) SFE Disability Evidence Form.

If you have already been awarded DSA support, please bring your DSA 2 letter with you (confirming your allocated support), as well as a copy of your Needs Assessment Report.
