Deaffest (www.deaffest.co.uk) had returned to Wolverhampton for its 11th festival, this time celebrating the world of Deaf Comedy. The UK’s leading Deaf-led Film & Arts Festival, run by Zebra Access, was held in Wolverhampton on the 6th – 8th May 2016.
Deaffest was first launched in 2006, which saw the start of an exciting new era for Deaf media and creativity. Over the years, Deaffest’s vibrant programme of films and events has expanded, celebrating the talents of deaf artists, actors, filmmakers, performing artists and many more.
A number of events, stalls, documentaries and networking opportunities had taken place over the three-day event. There were different events held at different locations on the Saturday, but more information can be found below for a particular day in which you may be interested.
