Interesting Fact: I was once a professional basketball player and also known as Big Sky!
Background: Clive started his professional basketball career with the Birmingham Bullets and went on to play in the England basketball team. His educational background took place in the USA where he was a student at Northwest Nazarene University before returning to the UK to play and then later coach basketball. He has coached at the highest level in Basketball with Milton Keynes Lions and Birmingham Panthers who are both part of the National BBL league. Currently, Clive is the head coach for Dudley College basketball and Head of basketball Development at WBA alongside his head of basketball role at the University of Wolverhampton.
Quote from Clive: Hi, I'm Clive and I have been at the University for around 12 months, officially. I have really enjoyed my short time here at the University and have already learnt a great deal about University basketball. My aim is to get both BUCS teams promoted, create a social level of basketball for students to get involved and to link both of these into our Division 3 Team Wolverhampton community team. By doing this we will have a complete pyramid for basketball here at the University. I am mostly based at the Walsall campus on Monday and Thursday evenings with game days on a Wednesday. I would very much like to meet students with an interest in basketball from playing to volunteering, so please come and introduce yourself and I will see how we can get you involved in Basketball. I am really excited to start the 2017 season as we have all the plans in place to make it a great season. See you soon, Clive.
