Intra Mural Sport

Throughout the year, our aim is to provide students with many different opportunities to participate in sport. As well as the Team and social programmes, throughout the year we will also be running several tournaments and leagues for various sports. Look through the table below on your interested sport, to see what competitions we shall be running and how to enter.

Football League (City)


Monday 14th October 2019 - 25th November 2019

5-7pm (weekly fixtures 25 minutes duration)

League Information:
Wolverhampton University Students and Staff only. The league will consist of a maximum of 8 teams. Therefore, entries will be dealt with on a first come, first served basis. Players from each team may be asked to provide proof of staff/student status.

£25 deposit (To be paid at time of entry; non-refundable)
£10 per match payable on match day (before your fixture at reception)

How to enter a team:
Team must complete entry form with a named captain and pay £25 deposit (entry fee)
due by Sunday 13th October. Forms submitted after this will not be considered.
Teams will be required to pay their weekly match fee prior to their fixture. Failure to adhere to this will result in a 3 point reduction.

The social session on a saturday at City Campus 2-4pm will be used for 3v3 games and competitions. Tournaments will also be set up throughout the year so please keep your eye out. 

If you have a passion for basketball and interested in helping to deliver basketball at the University, please get in touch!



Every wednesday afternoon at City Campus (4-6pm) we will be running a competitive badminton programme. From 4-5pm, individuals will play games to confirm seedings and from 5-6pm, matches will be played against similar ability levels. Throughout the year, there will be specific tournament dates where you will be able to win prizes, so keep your eye out for these.


These badminton sessions will start on October 16th 2019.

Netball Tournament

We are currently looking to organise a mixed netball tournament on campus. Follow our social media channels and keep an eye out for these details being published. 

Walsall Campus 6 a side Football League

We no longer offer a 6 a side league at Walsall campus, however have weekly recreational sessions which is competitive football but in an enjoyable, non commitment environment. Check out the social sport timetable to find out when they are.

Table Tennis

We have a weekly table tennis league taking place at City Campus every friday 1-2pm in the sports hall with our social sport activator Sheldon. Each month, prizes are given away to the top 3 of the leaderboard. To enter, simply turn up on a friday afternoon and get started.
