The University's ePortfolio system allows students to record skills, events and achievements throughout their academic study.

Called PebblePAD, the system gives you the opportunity to share with others what you have been working on - which may be just what an employer wants to know. You can also use PebblePAD to work collaboratively with people within the University.

PebblePAD allows you to build a diverse collection of items related to your studies, personal development, continuing professional development or any event of personal significance. It serves life-long and life-wide learning, making it a true 'ePortfolio for Life'.

About PebblePAD

The system is being used by students to collate work for:

  • Assessment
  • Enhancing personal development planning
  • Recording progress on professional courses
  • Supporting peer-group networks

Teachers are using PebblePAD to:

  • Share information with students
  • Provide feedback on progress
  • Support placement students
  • Coordinate project work
  • Record CPD and even appraisal

Developed by Pebble Learning, PebblePAD is designed by teachers and inspired by learners; its principle purpose is to support and celebrate the process of learning wherever and however that learning takes place.
