Congratulations to our new students and welcome to the Faculty of Science and Engineering and welcome back our returning students.
We want to provide support and guidance in advance of your arrival and will continue to do so throughout your studies. To make this easy we have setup a Welcome to FSE web site containing contact information, and important exercises; the FSE Health and Safety information and mandatory Health and Safety assessments.
Please complete the following health and safety assessments as soon as possible, before you arrive, to enable you to take part in practical sessions and workshop activities.
There is also an Individual Learning Profile (ILP) questionnaire which all students should aim to undertake so your Personal Tutor can discuss your perceived weaknesses and give advice on support available to address these.
Your user account on the FSE Welcome Web Site comes ready configured where your username will be your student number and your password will be your date of birth in the following format - dd/mm/yyyy. If you have any issues when logging onto this web site please contact the FSE Scientific Services Group.
We look forward to meeting you and wish you every success in your studies.
All new and returning students need to attend a course induction programme.
PLEASE NOTE: All students that completed the FD year last year need to attend the level 4 Welcome Week programme this year for the relevant course
Once available, please click the corresponding link below to view the induction programme for your course.
If your course induction information is not available by the start of your course, or you are arriving after your induction date, please contact your Faculty Student Services on (01902) 322129.
