NARU Modules

As part of the course you can study one or more modules.

Module Description         

This module will provide the academic skills and assessment component which builds on the completion of the NARU Operational Command course. There is no taught element withn the module, rather it is assessment only, allowing you to demonstrate postgraduate level knowledge and understanding from the NARU course.

You will achieve 20 university credits on successful completion of the module which may be transferred into the PGC/MSc Emergency
Planning, Resilience & Response course if desired.

Assessment

Production of a 2000 word essay to critically assess the concepts taught on the NARU course to demonstrate subject knowledge and understanding.

You will be provided detailed guidance on what you need to do to complete the assessment successfully, will have full access to the
Academic & Study Skills Modules on canvas provided by the Library, will have the option of telephone/videoconference tutorials, the opportunity to complete a personal development/learning plan and will have full access to the library which will allow access to academic materials needed to fulfil the course including a reading list.
