Students call for Togetherness in celebration of the Black Arts Movement
Students studying at the University of Wolverhampton School of Art have come together to shine the spotlight on works from artists and designers of colour – inspired by the 40th Anniversary of the Black Art Convention which was held at the School of Art in 1982.

The MA courses at Wolverhampton provide a unique space for students to develop and hone their professional skills, ‘dig deep’ into their own practice and begin to imagine and bring forth the artists, designers, and makers they want to be.

Creative Futures
The Careers Team have been working together with the School of Art and ArtsFest to create a brand new series of online Creative Futures Careers Talks. The talks are led by professionals working in the creative industries, many of them are our graduates. They will share their career journeys so far, the challenges they have faced and how they made it happen. We will get the chance to hear from people from a wide range of backgrounds, from self-employed designers/ artists to those working in large organisations. There will also be a Q&A which is a great opportunity to have any queries answered by those working in the field.

Wolverhampton Screen School
Our new multi-million pound, Screen School, represents a radical transformation of our educational offer – providing an impetus for our ongoing commitment to regional upskilling for local regeneration. Ongoing course development will dovetail with industry requirements, economic regeneration and social mobility of students in our increasingly ‘buzzing’ region to offer a new epicentre of screen based creativity for the West Midlands.
