Our studio-based learning environments are designed to provide you with a real world understanding of contemporary design processes. To enable you to communicate, develop and create exciting solutions for both print and screen medias.

Our specialist facilities includes

  • Apple Macintosh workstations running industry-standard design software
  • Integrated into the studio set up alongside spaces for, creation, discussion and presentation

  • A media store where you can loan cameras, video cameras and digital sound recording devices - as well as all sorts of useful equipment

Screen Printing Workshop

The Screen printing workshop contains 6 oversized A1 printing beds and a four-colour carousel for T-shirt printing.

Photo Studio

Massive double-height spaces, our coves have hosted fashion events, professional photographic events, and even a Formula 3 motorcar photoshoot! Lots of space for you to shoot, comfortable seating for clients and models, private hair & makeup studio with changing facilities make this a great resource.

Print Support Hub 

The Print Support Hub is a technically supported, open access area. It offers all School of Art students a range of specialist printers that are capable of printing onto a vast array of different materials.

Including:

  • A3 Risograph printer
  • 2 medium format high-end Epson printers (A4, A3, A3+ and A2)
  • Large format thermal lithographic printer
  • Large Format Mimaki textile printer
  • Large Format Mimaki textile printer

The room also offers two large format scanners that will scan artwork up to A0 size.
