Degree Show opening night:
Friday 6th June, 5.30pm—8.30pm

Degree Show open to the public:
9th—20th June, Mon—Fri, 10am—4pm

It’s fast approaching Degree Show time again and hard to believe we will soon be launching another year of incredible new talent with fresh approaches and innovative work.

The Creative practice thrives in a world of change and shifting landscapes, our students continue to create visual responses in the face of a polarised world that show a mirror to our society and their ways of seeing. We applaud their commitment and discipline that has transformed their creativity into the work that fills the School of Art building across the 2 weeks in June.

Our staff and students' integrity and talent embody our values of inclusive storytelling, sustainable solutions, creative well-being and radical social mobility. The Black Country has a heritage and legacy of skill, innovation and Industry that uniquely converge in our practice here in Wolverhampton. As the School horizon scans to its future and new home we are excited that our students, soon to be Alumni will continue to proudly carry forward our rich heritage into new legacies.

The Creative Industries continues to be the UK’s economic powerhouse. It is vibrant, agile and Innovative growing the UK economy and transforming lives. We proudly present the students work that will shape the Industries future direction of travel and impact.

Running alongside the Degree Show is our WLV Screen Awards, a celebration of student filmmakers and recent graduate work. Based in the Wolverhampton Screen School at the University of Wolverhampton the awards showcase the best of student achievement and creativity. 

The event will include screenings of selected films and is open to current students and recent Alumni. It goes hand in hand with the School of Creative Industries annual degree show shining a light on the city's creative talent.
