The Annual Research Conference on 16th June 2015, City Campus will focus on the twin themes of Transformation and Impact.
Transformational research involves pioneering theoretical and or methodological innovation that has the potential to change our understanding of scientific and social concepts, practice or paradigms.
Research impact is the demonstrable contribution that excellent research makes to society and the economy.
In this conference we welcome contributions from staff and post graduate research students from all disciplines, topics, and stages of research, particularly those of an interdisciplinary character.
We want to know how your research is transformational and how it has impacted (or likely to impact) on the local community, wider society and /or the economy.
This is a great opportunity to showcase your project in a supportive academic environment and receive feedback to inform the development of your research.
Please submit your abstracts for consideration (up to 300 words) by email attachment to Jill Morgan (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The deadline for submission of abstracts is noon on Friday 10th April 2015
Please note that the we are offering one place within each parallel session to Research Students to present their work. PGR students are also invited to take part in the Research Poster Competition.
If you are a PGR student, please specify in your email if you wish your abstract to be considered for an oral presentation, poster display or both.
Please note that this year’s Early Researcher Award Scheme (ERAS) Fellows will be presenting at the conference as part of their project dissemination.
