Rethinking the link between Corporate Social Responsibility and Human Resource Management through institutional logics

Professor Mine Karatas-OzkanSpeaker: Professor Mine Karataş-Özkan

Time: 2pm-3pm

Mine Karataş-Özkan is a Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Southampton Business School, University of Southampton. Her research, teaching and leadership work focuses on entrepreneurship from social responsibility, sustainability and diversity and inclusion perspectives, in particular to relational dynamics of people (with diverse backgrounds) participation in entrepreneurial activity. This also extends to research on understanding entrepreneurial ecosystems and support mechanisms at multiple levels for socially inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship. She has published a number of books and journal articles in these areas. She serves as the Chair of the EURAM Doctoral Colloquium.

Mustafa F. Özbilgin is a Turkish-born British sociologist. He is Professor of Human Resource Management at Brunel Business School, Brunel University and previous editor-in-chief of the British Journal of Management and European Management Review (EMR), the official journal of the European Academy of Management (EURAM). He is also co-chair of Management and Diversity at University Paris-Dauphine in France. Between 2006 and 2010, he served as the editor-in-chief of Equal Opportunities International.
