PhD Working Title: 'Probation Officers' attitudes towards balancing public protection and Human Rights in the risk management framework of MAPPA'


Kyros has been a researcher at the University of Wolverhampton since October 2016 in the areas of criminal justice and human rights. His research focuses on the probation service and the balance between human rights and public protection.

His previous studies were undertaken at the University of Birmingham from which he graduated with an LLB in 2015 and an LLM in 2016.

He has further been involved with Chambers work in criminal and family cases as a mini-pupil. He has also worked in the sector of legal insurance and undertaken charity and military work with associated organisations.

Kyros is originally from Cyprus and has been living in the UK since 2012.
