Data and Security Research Hub

Data is increasingly present and used in every facet of our lives in the modern world, and is a pressing issue as more and more business is conducted online and more data is gathered on individuals and can be shared easily through different technological means. The Data and Security Research Hub recognises the importance and increase reliance that businesses have on data and information.

The hub members include academics, researchers and PhD students that have a research interested in areas relating to the information systems discipline.

Our research in organised into a number of discreet themes including:  Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Computer Security, Business Analysis, Data Analysis and mathematical Modelling Applied to Multi-Disciplines, E-commence, Databases, Data Mining, Change Management and Artificial Intelligence.

The aim of the hub is to get members to collaborate together in key areas of information systems and then apply this to other discipline across the faculty as well as within industry. . The hub acts as a support forum in areas such as writing of conference papers and establishing connection, in order to strength the research output of the department.
