This was a presentation I delivered at the University of Wolverhampton on 19th September 2014.
It was part of the university’s first ever national Service User Conference, 'Sharing Experience to Inspire Excellence'. This ground-breaking event brought together academics, researchers, staff, students, service users, clinicians, health professionals and managers – as planners, speakers, presenters, and as delegates – from as far afield as Lancaster, Leeds, London and Brighton.
My aim was to summarise and illustrate the many ways in which I and fellow service user volunteers of the SUCCESS and RESULT groups have been contributing to the work of the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing here at Wolverhampton – specifically in the realms of Research.
