Professor Alis Oancea: Professor of Philosophy of Education and Research Policy and Director of Research, Oxford University Department of Education, UK
Professor Alis Oancea specialises in studies of research policy and governance and in philosophy of research – including work on research assessment, impact and knowledge exchange, research funding, research quality, evaluation, open knowledge practices, research ethics, capacity, publication practices, and the cultural value of research in the arts and the humanities. This strand of work is complemented with a strong interest in teacher education research, innovation in teacher education policy and practice, knowledge and values in the teaching profession, and the role of research in teacher education.
Professor Dennis Hayes: Professor of Education and Chair of the College of Education Research Committee, University of Derby, UK
Professor Dennis Hayes is Professor of Education at University of Derby and founder and director of the influential campaign group Academics For Academic Freedom . Dennis is co-author with Kathryn Ecclestone of The Dangerous Rise of Therapeutic Education, now in its 2nd Edition and author of Beyond McDonaldisation: Visions of Higher Education. Dennis regularly features in the media, including talks for BBC Radio channels and Sky TV.
Professor Petar Jandric: Professor of Informatics, Zagreb University of Applied Sciences, Croatia
His research interests are focused to the intersections between critical pedagogy and information and communication technologies. Research methodologies of his choice are inter-, trans- and anti-disciplinarity. Petar's previous academic affiliations include Croatian Academic and Research Network, National e-Science Centre at the University of Edinburgh, Glasgow School of Art and Cass School of Education at the University of East London.
