Clearing campaign in the running for results
The University of Wolverhampton is gearing up for Clearing with new website pages and an advertising campaign designed to back students who are applying to study for a degree in September 2020.
Clearing offers degree applicants an alternative route for enrolling on a University course when they get their examination results.
Students who are studying for BTEC, Access qualifications and A Levels will receive their results on Thursday 13th August 2020.
The University’s “We Back You’ advertising campaign will be running throughout July and August, with Social Media, radio and billboard adverts across the Black Country, Shropshire, Stafford and the wider West Midlands.
The new Clearing website pages give detailed information about what courses are available and how students can apply when they receive their results along with the opportunity to engage with current students and take a virtual tour of university buildings.
Rebecca Hollington, Director of UK Recruitment and Partnerships at the University of Wolverhampton, said: “We are doing everything we can to limit any impact recent events may have on applicants to study at the University of Wolverhampton.
“We have an increasing and ever growing number of potential students who are currently going through the application process and the recruitment team is busy supporting enquiries from prospective students who are keen to study at the University from September.
“I think the most important message for applicants is to take their time and think through their options. We have lots of support on offer and we are really looking forward to welcoming new students for the start of the new academic year this September.”
